St. Joseph's Brooklyn Campus, only one half hour from Manhattan, combines the friendly atmosphere of a small liberal arts campus with the tremendous career, cultural and entertainment opportunities of an urban College close to the Capital of the World, New York City. With easy access to all transit lines, the Long Island Expressway, to all bridges in Brooklyn, Manhattan and Queens, as well as to the Verrazano-Narrows Bridge to Staten Island, the Brooklyn Campus is convenient for commuters from all boroughs. The College is located in the center of one of the most diverse academic communities in the region, comprised of six colleges and universities within a two-mile radius of each other. These institutions as well as the Brooklyn Academy of Music, the Brooklyn Public Library and the Brooklyn Museum of Art - as well as Manhattan's Metropolitan Museum of Art, Lincoln Center and Carnegie Hall - are easily accessible for research, internships, field work and extracurricular fun.
