Sophie Aldred - British actress, born 20th August 1962, Greenwich, London. Started her acting career in working men's clubs, through children's theatre, fringe theatre, to land the role of 'Ace' in the BBC TV series 'Doctor Who' (1987-1989). Has since done a variety of other television work.
