Deutsche Welle, a German broadcasting company, filed a WIPO complaint against DiamondWare Limited, a US software company, to seize the domain dw.com. On January 2, 2001, WIPO dismissed the claim and declared that Deutsche Welle's complaint was made in bad faith and constituted an abuse of process.
