Living History/US Civil War portrays the era of 1861-1865 via the reenactment of battles and daily living. These include artisans, duels and military combat, first-person interpretations, historic research, period garb, and use of the era's common tools and objects.
This category is specific to groups of Civil War reenactors who portray military regiments or small units authorized by the Civil War Governor of the home state. It includes Divisions, Brigades, Battalions, Companies, and individual units.

The Leon Rifles are American Civil War reenactors who have formed an organization that does Living History as a hobby. We have no political ties and have no political agenda. Our unit, based in Tallahassee and North Florida, does this strictly because we enjoy history and enjoy each others company.
