Morris [Litchfield County] was incorporated from Litchfield in 1859 and named from a prominent resident, James Morris.
rea, 18.7 sq. miles. Population, 2000 Census, 2,301. Voting Districts, 1. Principal industry, agriculture and light industry. Bantam Lake, the largest natural lake in the state and a popular summer resort lies mostly within the town.
Morris includes the area known as Lakeside.
