Overland Park is the third largest city in the state of Kansas, with a population of over 150,000. Located in the northeastern part of the state, it is the largest city in Johnson County, one of the 13 counties in Missouri and Kansas that make up the Kansas City Metropolitan area. It has many first-class hotels, restaurants and shopping venues, and it offers a premiere dinner theater featuring Broadway comedies and musicals, with top-name performers. The Arboretum and Botanical Gardens are famous local attractions.
