Once a part of Mount Desert. Incorporated as Cranberry Isles in 1830. The 'town' consists of the following islands: Great Cranberry Island, Little Cranberry Island, Islesford, Sutton, Baker and Bear. Population hovers year round at 200 and increases during the summer months.
