Zip Code: 04272 Town composed of five grants and tracts, known as Thompson's Grant, Fox's Grant, Peck's Grant, and Lunt's Upper and Lower Grants. Area was first in 1793, by people coming from Westbrook and Falmouth. In 1812, the area was incorporated as Plantation No. 1, and later, in 1821, became the town of Peru.
