Troy is a city of about 50,000 in Rensselaer County in upstate New York, located about 10 minutes from Albany and 30 minutes from western New England. Historically, Troy was best known for its iron mills, collar factories, and laundries. Today Troy is a growing high-tech and historic restoration center for the region.
