Young Ward is a portion of the unincorporated portion of Cache County that is largely rural. The name come from the LDS congregation boundaries that define this region. There was an attempt to incorporate Young Ward, which succeeded with the Utah township law that was later repealed by the Utah State Legislature, turning this back into unincorporated territory. Largely rural in nature with many farms, the cities of Wellsville and Logan are growing in the direction of Young Ward, and its destiny is to become one of these two towns or go on its own path.
