Trempealeau County is located on the Mississippi River between La Crosse, WI and Winona, MN. It is a county rich in historical lore and some of the best scenery in the Western Hemisphere. Galesville, WI, located in the southern part of the county, is thought to be one of the two most likely spots in the world to be where the Garden of Eden was. The other one is in Syria.
