Alpha Gamma Delta is an international women's fraternity (more commonly referred to as a sorority), founded in 1904 at Syracuse University and dedicated to academic excellence, leadership development, high ideals and sisterhood. While membership begins for most in college, members continue their involvement after leaving school by joining alumnae groups located throughout the United States and Canada. Within these alumnae groups, there are Junior Circles made up of members age 35 years and younger. These Junior Circles are formed to help the younger alumnae with the transition from collegiate life to alumnae involvement.
