Evangelism translates as Gospelism or Good-Newsism. It is telling about Jesus and salvation from sins to those who do not know him and believe in him. The Christian Church especially speaks of evangelism in a domestic sense, often done informally by individual believers, or among those of a related culture or ethnic background. Organized efforts, especially outreach to different races, cultures, languages, or environments (such as university students) are often classified under Missions.
